Welcome to Alexander City Jazz Festival. For over 30 years, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming amazing music and entertainment to downtown Alexander “Alex” City, Alabama. Originally a one-night event that started as a 100-year birthday celebration for Frohsin’s Department Store, we added a second night of fun in 1998 at the Lake Martin Amphitheatre. Today, we’re proud to host two nights of good times and great tunes in downtown Alex City’s Strand Park (Friday night show) and at The AMP on Lake Martin (Saturday night show).  FAQs

  • 2024’s Jazz Fest is Friday, June 14th and Saturday June 15th.

  • Friday’s show is at Strand Park in downtown Alexander City. Saturday’s show is at the Lake Martin Amphitheater.

  • Friday’s show begins at 6 pm and lasts until 10 pm. Saturday’s show begins at 6 pm and lasts until 10 pm. “Doors” open at 5 pm.

  • There are food and beverage vendors on-site both nights. Friday’s show at Strand park is in the middle of Alex City’s Arts & Entertainment District, which means guests can purchase beverages from those establishments and bring into the park. Guests are also allowed to bring their own food and beverages to the concerts. Alcohol is permitted for ages 21 and up.

  • Public parking for Friday night is available throughout downtown Alex City. The Lake Martin Amphitheater has ample parking and attendants to help you find a spot.
